Woods of Narnia is a handmade store on etsy.com selling everything from place holders, button, jewlery, and coaster made entirely of wood! We here at The Second Fiddle love wood, and so thought these cozy coasters and such would fit our style. We hope you enjoy the rugged and rustic domestic items.

bad posture

you see, dear mother, bad posture is not always a negative thing. this fellow looks quite comfortable (A. A. Milne). With the end of the semester approaching, I begin to sit more like Milne here. Ah.. my back.

If you have never read Winnie Ille Pu, I highly recommend reading it out loud. A wonderful Latin read.
We were also in an Etsy craft show this week at the St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum. This was our first craft show, it went well, and we saw many familiar faces. more on this later.
Cheers,
Emily

math

I though I would share some photos of some charming old men (most with top notch beards)

Johnny Cash

George Bernard Shaw

Thelonious Monk

Woody Guthrie

unknown man

There is a story around the school. The calculus class was watching a movie about a man who had just solved a notorious proof that had taken him 7 years. My math teacher cried.
Oh glorious math!
